I always learn things about friends when we were young at these events. I realize we were all very much alike and different at the same time. Plan on coming next year...

2009 Homecoming - SAINTS vs SALESIANS

October 30, 2009 the Saints will play the Salesians for their annual Homecoming Game. Game starts at 7:00 p.m. at Clark Field. Come early for the pre-game activities.

This will be our 4th annual "Saints of the Sixties" Cocktail Party, hosted by the Class of 1962 at the Gaslamp Restaurant and Bar. Each year gets better and better. So, I hope you'll plan your summer vacations to include a trip back to Long Beach and come spend some time with your friends from SA. We'll be on the outside patio...casual attire only! It is a no-host bar evening and I'm sure Sept. 12 will be a gorgeous summer evening.

Class of 1964 hosts 45 year reunion with a Cruise

The Class of 1964 is celebrating their 45th reunion with a Cruise aboard Carnival's Paradise ship.  They leave on Monday, 10/26/09 from Long Beach and cruise to Catalina and Ensenada before returning to Long Beach on Friday, 10/30/09.   They would like to extend the invitation to other SA graduates.   The cost is $236.68 per person for an inside cabin and $276.68 per person for an ocean view cabin.

This picture (Dave Adlesh and Pete Talley) was sent to me in October 2008 and I should have posted it then.   But anyway, it came to me from Bob McConnell.    His note read:  "To think that in the early 1960s the athletic hopes of sporting fans at St. Anthony depended upon these two in three sports is really quite frightening."

So, anyone else out there have pictures of classmates to share, I promise to post them for you.

1962 SA Gal's Luncheon 5/2/09

Several of our local classmates gathered together for lunch at Mary Lou (Fogarty) LaLonde's home in Long Beach.   It was another memorable afternoon followed by sharing what's going on with each of us.  Hopefully this will be an annual event, so if you're interested in coming and/or opening your home for this event, please let me know.  Group Picture ==>
